Three couples · Twelve weeks · The first round

Courageous Love: A new way to move through conflict, together.

For couples who still love each other and want to feel like a team again.

Connected Conflict

The same shape, every time

I’m opening the first round of Courageous Love for three couples only. Not three couples this month and then three more founding couples later. These are the first three ever. The door closes when those three spots are filled.

A couple playing in the surf at sunset

You’ve had this conversation before.

Not this exact one — but this shape of it. Different words, same wound. Maybe it starts with the dishes, the kids, money, tone, sex, time, or the thing one of you said three weeks ago that somehow still lives in the room. By the end — however it happens for you: pushed too hard, pulled back too far, or smoothed it over just to make it stop — you’re lonelier than you were before it started.

You’re not in crisis. You’re not googling divorce lawyers at 2am. You’re not secretly planning your exit. From the outside, things probably look fine — good on paper, managing the household well, keeping the calendar moving, showing up where you’re supposed to show up. And somewhere underneath all that managing, still missing each other.

Courageous Love is built to help you do one thing in 12 weeks: go from a fight nobody knows how to come back from, to a fight where you both know the way back to each other. Same two people. Same kitchen. A different conversation, on purpose.

Light breaking through heavy cloud over a shoreline at dawn

The hard conversation stops being the whole relationship.

Once it stops taking up all the air, there’s room left over —

for closeness,

for wanting each other again,

for the two of you who aren’t always managing something.

Where it clicks back into place

Most relationship work teaches you how to communicate with your partner.

The deeper work is learning how to truly see them

A 12-week journey for couples who still love each other — and want to feel like a team again.

Two faces close together, eyes meeting
1

Weeks 1–4

Clear the Cycle

See the pattern before it takes over.

Spot your triggers, name the moves you both make, and finally understand the cycle you’ve been stuck inside.

You’ll leave with

A shared language for your conflict cycle

Clarity on triggers and protective patterns

The ability to pause instead of react

2

Weeks 5–8

Have the Conversation

Learn to tell the truth without creating the same fight.

Share what’s underneath the conflict, listen without defending, and practice repair while it still matters.

You’ll learn to

Speak honestly without blame

Listen without getting defensive

Repair before resentment builds

3

Weeks 9–12

Build Your Rhythm

Create a relationship that knows how to come back together.

Build rituals, shared signals, and simple agreements so repair becomes part of how you love — not something you have to remember.

You’ll create

Rituals that keep you connected

Signals that stop conflict from escalating

Agreements you can actually keep

By the end, you’ll be able to…

You catch the cycle before it catches you.

Say what’s really happening without blame or shutdown.

Repair conflict in minutes instead of carrying it for days.

Feel emotionally safe enough to be honest again.

Trust that you both know the way back to each other.

A couple running into the surf together, hand in hand
Same two people, moving in the same direction again

The goal isn’t fewer disagreements. It’s a relationship where you both know how to find each other again. From recurring conflict to connected conflict. Same two people. Same kitchen. A completely different conversation, on purpose.

Shoulders drop when it’s named

This isn’t for every couple, and it doesn’t need to be.

It’s for couples who are still together, still love each other, and just can’t seem to reach each other anymore.

Maybe you push until it’s said. Maybe you pull back until it passes. Maybe you smooth it over until it’s settled enough to move on. However it goes for you, you end up in the same place — further from each other than you meant to be.

And if one of you is thinking, “great, another thing where I have to become a feelings person overnight” — breathe. We’re not doing interpretive dance in a feelings cardigan. We’re just telling the truth more safely.

It’s also worth saying who it’s not for

If there’s an active affair on the table, someone has already said the word divorce and meant it, or one of you has fully checked out and is only showing up to say you tried — that’s a different room, with different support, and I’ll happily point you toward it. My lane is couples where the bond is bruised, not broken.

You’ll recognize yourselves if:

Touch the ones that are true for the two of you.

Nothing to mark yet. Read them slowly — most couples find at least two.

What the twelve weeks holds

This isn’t a course you work through alone, and it isn’t a cohort.

Here’s what the 12 weeks actually looks like when we’re working together — you work with me, and only me, the whole way through.

Two people paddling one kayak across still water at dusk
One boat, both paddling — this is what the last four weeks are for

3

Individual Sessions

Three each, across the 12 weeks

You’ll each have three individual sessions across the 12 weeks, because some things need a room of their own before they can be brought safely into the room you share. We start with Your Own Room First in week 1, so neither of you walks into the first couple session feeling ambushed or expected to perform being “fine.” The second comes right before Honest Conversation, when the work gets harder — saying the thing that’s actually underneath the surface argument. The third comes before Trusted Rhythm, a readiness check before you start holding this on your own, without me in the room.

9

Couple Sessions

Three across each stage

This is where we work with the relationship itself.

Not a workbook version of your conflict. Not what you think happens after you’ve both calmed down. The actual cycle as it shows up between you — the moment one of you gets defensive, shuts down, pursues, pulls away, over-explains, goes quiet, or loses the other.

Across each stage, we’ll slow those moments down enough to see what’s really happening, practice a different way through them together, and repeat it until the new response starts becoming more available than the old one.

You won’t just leave understanding your pattern better. You’ll have practiced what to do differently when the pattern is actually happening.

1

Private Telegram Support

One shared thread, for the full 12 weeks

Relationships don’t only get hard during scheduled sessions.

You’ll have a private Telegram thread with me throughout the container for the moments when something happens between sessions and you need support applying the work while it’s still real.

A hard conversation. A repair that isn’t landing. A moment where you can see the old cycle starting and don’t quite know how to interrupt it yet.

The goal isn’t for me to become the third person in your relationship. It’s to help you bridge the gap between knowing the work in session and living it at home — so one hard night doesn’t turn into, “See? Nothing’s changed.”

Over time, you’ll need me there less. That’s the point.

Two hands clasped together at the shoreline at sunset

Light-touch, coaching-heavy. No workbook to fall behind on. Just the two of you, in the room with me, working the actual cycle as it shows up.

The week-3 checkpoint

None of this works if it doesn’t start moving early enough for you to actually feel it. By session three, you should both be able to see the cycle more clearly — what tends to start it, what each of you does next, and where the conversation usually gets lost. If that isn’t happening yet, we keep working until that foundation is in place, at no extra cost.

The pause clause

Life doesn’t pause just because you’ve started. If life gets in the way for a week, your sessions wait for you — no penalties, no losing your spot.

The room, and what it asks of you

To do the 12 weeks together, the investment is $5,000.

You can pay in full, or split it across three or five installments so the two of you can choose the option that creates the least pressure at home.

Pay in Full $5,000
3 Installments $1,850 Ă— 3
5 Installments $1,150 Ă— 5

Included

A couple of things are included to make the first step and the last stretch easier. Altogether, that’s $1,600 of support already built in.

The First Conversation

Yours as soon as you join — a short guide for whichever one of you is reading this right now, on how to bring this up with a partner who isn’t sure yet: three different openers depending on how your partner tends to respond, and what not to say.

Holding the Rhythm

At the end of the 12 weeks — a simple reference for your rituals and signals, plus short audio check-ins from me for the moments that tend to test a couple: a repair attempt that lands badly, or the “are we actually okay” wobble.

Founding Couples Reflection Call

Because this is the first round, you’ll also get a call with me after the 12 weeks, to look at what shifted and what rhythm you need to keep protecting.

Eleven years of transformational work

Portrait of Obsidian
Obsidian · Obsidian Whyte Coaching

I’ve spent the last eleven years in transformational work — coaching, facilitating, hosting retreats, and sitting with people in the places where our deepest patterns tend to surface.

In the last few years, that work has increasingly brought me into the space between two people: couples who are still together, still in love, but somehow not reaching each other anymore.

Courageous Love grew from that work, and from something I’ve come to believe deeply: what happens between two people is inseparable from what’s happening inside each one of them.

I’d love to work with you both. — Obsidian

The questions that come next

Is this therapy?

No. I’m not a licensed therapist, and this isn’t a substitute for therapy. This is coaching — hands-on, in the room with you, focused on the actual cycle you’re stuck in. If something surfaces that needs licensed clinical support, I’ll tell you directly and help you find it.

We’ve already read the books, tried therapy, been to a retreat — why would this be different?

Because most of that work happens one at a time, in your own head, away from each other. This happens between you, in real time, with someone watching the cycle as it actually shows up — not a workbook version of it, and not something you have to explain to each other afterward.

What if only one of us is fully on board right now?

That’s normal, and it’s exactly why we start with Your Own Room First — an individual session for each of you in week one, before anything happens together. Nobody’s expected to walk in already convinced.

What if we don’t feel anything shift right away?

By session three, you should both be able to see the cycle more clearly. If that foundation isn’t in place yet, we keep working together until it is, at no extra cost.

What if life gets in the way for a week — travel, work, a sick kid?

Your sessions wait for you. No penalties, no losing your spot.

Why only three couples?

Because I’m the only one delivering this — there’s no team, no cohort. Three is the number where I can actually be present with each of you the way this work requires.

We’re not in crisis. Is this still for us?

This is exactly who it’s for. You don’t need to be falling apart to want to reach each other again — most couples here are still together, still love each other, and are just tired of having the same conversation on repeat.

Is there support between sessions if something comes up?

Yes — you’ll have a private thread with me for the moments that can’t wait a week, so one hard night doesn’t undo what we’ve built.

How does payment work?

$5,000 total. Pay in full, or split it across three or five installments — whichever creates the least pressure at home.

What if we start and realize it’s not the right fit?

There’s no refund or cancellation once you’ve enrolled — which is exactly why the application and consultation come first, so we can both be honest about fit before any payment happens. Once we begin, your safety net isn’t a refund — it’s the Week-3 Checkpoint and the Pause Clause: if you’re not seeing a shift by session three, we keep working until you do, at no extra cost, and if life gets in the way, your sessions simply wait for you.

Is what we share confidential?

Yes. What happens in our sessions and in our thread between them stays between us.

We don’t fight like other couples — loud and fast, or so quiet you can barely tell there’s a fight at all. Does this still work for us?

However it goes for you — maybe you push until it’s said, maybe you pull back until it passes, maybe you smooth it over until it’s settled enough to move on — the shape underneath is still the same cycle. This isn’t built around one way of fighting. We work with the pattern as it actually shows up between the two of you.

If this feels like the right room for the two of you

Apply for a consultation.

Apply for a consultation

Three spots in the first round. The door closes when those three spots are filled.

Step 1

Fill out a short application and book your consultation.

Step 2

We’ll talk it through together. If it feels like the right fit, your first payment secures your spot as one of the three founding couples, and you’ll choose the payment option that creates the least pressure at home.

Step 3

We’ll set up your first individual sessions — Your Own Room First — and begin there.

P.S. If you’re reading this before your partner has said yes, drop your email below and I’ll send you The First Conversation. It gives you three different openers depending on how your partner tends to respond to hard conversations, plus what not to say, so the first conversation about getting help has a fighting chance of not becoming the same wound with better grammar.
